Obesity is a major problem for all the people. In regarding of the obesity, it becomes so easy to get obesity but to get rid from the obesity become difficult. The obesity is a serious risk for health. In England, it has been estimated that 47% of males & 36% of females would be obese till 2025 as well as this will rise till 60% of males & 57% of females would be obese till 2050.
Because of the obesity, there are so many health problems are creating the huge burden on NHS and this burden can increase with the increase of obese people. To reduce the obesity, the primary nurses help a lot to the obese people specially those nurses who involved in managing long term conditions as well as those nurses involved in health promotion, they are perfect to reduce obesity with the obese people. By having the obesity, the obese people face so many health consequences such as hypertension, type 2 diabetes, depression, dyslipidaemia and obstructive sleep apnoea.
The obesity occurs when the energy intake exceeds and energy expenditure low on a regular basis. The others causes of obesity are genetic syndromes, some prescribed medications and hypothalamic injury. Besides it, the greatest influence for the development of obesity is lifestyle. To reduce the obesity, the obese people require three essential things such as motivation, Eating and Physical activity. By having the motivation, the obese people can reduce the obesity. In eating, quantity of foods should less and avoids high calories foods.
